Education Minnesota Retired Governing Board--Who We Are


The Governing Board consists of two elected members from each Congressional District, two at-large members, and officers.

The Mission Statement is below.

The Committees are Membership, Communications, Resolutions, Government Relations/Policy Development. Nominations/Elections, Bylaws, and Finance.

There are also Special Committees that serve as needed.  At this time there are two Special Committees, Local Chapters, and Membership Restructure.

I am very excited to serve as your President.  My goals are to increase retired member involvement, increase involvement of retired ESP members, help to continue to improve communications, and begin having regional meetings.   As an active member, I taught in Anoka-Hennepin for 36 years.   I served







BE IT RESOLVED THAT this organization reaffirms its total support of the defined benefit pension, not only for public employees, but for all working Americans.

(RATIONALE: The defined benefit is one of the three legs of a secure retirement plan, and it has been determined to be more economical for the employer than the defined contribution program.)



BE IT RESOLVED THAT the TRA Fund be elevated to full funding status, with the responsibility for attaining this goal to be equally assigned to the state, the local school district
