The 2021 Education Minnesota Retired Annual Meeting was held virtually on Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1:00PM CDT. There were 68 members who registered; those in actual attendance numbered 42 individuals. 

Prior to the meeting, an agenda, committee reports, and the minutes of last year’s (virtual) Annual Meeting were sent out. Retired President Julie Jagusch welcomed the attendees and presented her “State of the Union” address. Education Minnesota Vice President Bernie Bernham (liason to ED MN Retired) also spoke. When last I wrote about the Exec Council, it was in January, 2021. Presently the Council has 8 Committees: Membership, Communications, Legislative, Scholarship, Grants, PAC Fund Raising Events, Governance, and Elections. These Committees have ZOOMED throughout the year in order to develop strategies and information which can be useful to our members. Committee make-up is grassroots members from throughout the U.S. 

The Exec Council is a smaller version of the aforementioned committees. As of this writing, the Council is working to

When last I wrote about the Exec Council, it was in the Summer 2020 issue. In that article, I explained background Council details and duties and the “make-up” of the Council itself. 

Presently the Council has 7 Committees: Membership, Communications, Legislative, Scholarship, Grants, PAC Fund Raising Events, Governance.
